If you are interested in becoming a member of Queens Road Neighbourhood Centre, just read the information below!
We hope that you will help us by completing our new membership & monitoring form, that was approved by the Trustees at their Board meeting of Tuesday 4th August 2009. The information that you provide will help us in monitoring the effectiveness of our equality and diversity and other policies and to make sure we comply with statutory legal requirements under various Acts of Parliament and new requirements from our funders, including Sefton Council.
The collection of this information also complies with the Data Protection Act (1998) and helps us to keep records up to date as well as making sure your details are recorded correctly.
Queens Road Neighbourhood Centre is a “membership” organisation. If you wish to become a member and you live in the Borough of Sefton please contact us for more information. You are entitled to be involved in decision making e.g.
- By becoming a Trustee or Management Committee member.
- By being eligible to attend and vote at an Annual General Meeting.
- To receive information such as Annual reports and newsletters.
- Be consulted on major issues affecting the centre and its services
- Be a member of the new “QRNC Users Forum”
The information you provide will only be used for statistical monitoring and any of the information will be “anonymised”, i.e. names and addresses will not be used and be shared with other agencies or in reports and other publicity materials. We will always ask for your permission in advance if such a situation arises and we will always abide by your decision if you do not wish to give permission.
