About Us @ Queens Road Neighbourhood Centre Queens Road Neighbourhood Centre has been providing facilities since 1990. Community facilities have been provided on the Queens Road Estate since 1986 when ‘Queens Road Neighbourhood Project’ operated from a two bed roomed house. The project was staffed by local volunteers concerned about lack of opportunities for young people in the area. The current centre was built in 1989 and a crèche was added in 1994. Queens Road Neighbourhood Centre has since gone from strength to strength and continues to be led by local trustees with the help of a team of professional workers. Our current services include childcare, youth work, community development and adult education. We are committed to providing:
